Consultant （Japanese writing and reading skill is required）

To be recognized as the trusted partner in Virtualization and Cloud Services space with outstanding skills and knowledge
to make customers successful on their journey to virtualization in conjunction with network and Cloud Services.
To help our key customers early adopters and customers with complex and/or large deployments achieve success for
each of their virtualization/Cloud Services implementations with our products at every customers system life cycle stage －
from high－level analysis to implementation rollout.
To drive product sales and services by being a trusted advisor for their short and long term IT plan and accelerate
additional purchase of licenses and services.
Consultants lead customer－facing projects of medium to large－size or complex implementations as a team or execute smaller or shorter projects independently. This position requires a responsibility for applying Consulting methodologies and providing customers technical leadership in the Analysis Architecture Design Build/Test and Rollout of products in addition to the relevant technologies and solutions.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
A consultant typically deliver projects with senior consultants for mid to large sized projects as a second resource and
he/she needs to show their ability to complete assigned tasks and develop project deliverables with little guidance from
the team lead.
The primary responsibilities and expectations for this position include but are not limited to:
・Act as the primary point of interface with the client or project manager.
・Act as a technical expert （not only products and technologies but also virtualization networking and cloud）.
・Develop project deliverables and be responsible and accountable for the outputs.
・Effectively execute Consulting service offerings and communicate their value to the customers.
・Have responsibility/accountability for delivering entire components of the projects.
・Understand the “big picture” and the impact of different areas of the whole project.
・Proactively seek to expand knowledge and supplement skills effectively through other team members and appropriate
use of books manuals and other self－study and learning materials.
1. Qualifications （Knowledge Skills Abilities）
Consultants should also have advanced skills and knowledge on the following technologies and products:
・Design and implementation experiences in the customer－facing projects are must.
・Server virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere Hyper－V and XenServer.
・Windows Server technologies such as Active Directory printing user profile management.
Strong skills or knowledge in any of the following areas are considered as a plus:
・IaaS cloud services computer server architecture networking storage application development scripting like
PowerShell and/or software development skills in a higher language such as C＋＋ .NET etc.
2．Requirements （Education Certification Training Experience）
Consultants must have good technical problem solving and communication skills. The individual must be flexible
dependable and capable of multi－tasking and to quickly learn new products and technologies.
Consultants should have deep understandings of desktop and server operating systems software including Microsoft
Windows and also every infrastructure layers.
・Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience.
・At least 4＋ years of customer－facing work experience as a consultant （or equivalent） at system integrators or
professional services department at HW/SW vendors especially in infrastructure architecture and design of complex
・Demonstrated ability to lead customer－facing teams and accountability for results.
・Capability of writing and reviewing documents within customer－facing project.
・Understanding of QCD.
・Technical problem－solving ability with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
・Positive customer service attitude.
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
・Capability of written communication （read/write） in English since most technical resources are written in English
and consultants sometimes need to escalate technical issues via emails or phone calls so the willingness to
communicate in English especially verbal communication ability is preferred. At least TOEIC 800 points are preferred.
